La Filipina is a Filipino-owned factory based in the Philippines. It’s four hours by land and a boat trip away from Boracay. Our production facility is 2,000 square meters with 200 to 300 workers with an annual production capacity of 4,000 kilograms.

La Filipina is a cooperative company which consists of production workers, hair collectors, quality controllers, and products researchers. Being part owner, each of us goes the extra mile to source quality hair and to produce quality product. Hair is not just material to us, it is our life, our source of income. Thus, producing premium standard products has become a way of life.

Our founder believes in sociopreneurship as solution to poverty. His goal is to find a business that will help people in the community, to alleviate poverty and improve their living standard and economic level. Providing not only jobs and income opportunity but also to improve the welfare of the community.
