Clients may send to us their purchased hair from their supplier for detangling service.

When the hair has not been chemically processed, like a virgin hair that was directly cut from a donor’s head, this hair has an intact hair cuticle. The hair cuticle is the scaly, protective outer layer of the hair. Hair cuticle is supposed to be retained in virgin remy hair.

However, there are certain hair products that have no other alternative but for the cuticle to be removed from. For example, in producing lace front wigs or lace closures where there are knotting process, hair cuticle should be removed, especially on the root part to avoid tangling.

To avoid tangling, cuticle must also be removed when the roots and tips are mixed, like in the case of non-remy hair.

We can do detangling service, Root Tangle Free (Root TF) or the Root to Tip Tangle Free or Whole TF. Root TF is the detangling process where the hair cuticle is removed from the root part measuring 3 inches from the roots and retaining the cuticles for the rest of the hair. The whole TF is the detangling process where the cuticles are removed from roots to tips.
FEE:
For Root TF we charge US$10 per kilogram for 10kg and above and US$25 per kilogram for less than 10kg.
For Whole TF, we charge US$15 per kilogram for 10kg and above and US$30 per kilogram for less than 10kg.
