We use a tiny ring; the i-tip hair extension is attached to a section of your natural hair. It is a kind of i-tip where the tip of about ¾ to 1 inch is soft such that when this is installed to the natural hair with the use of a ring, there is not so much friction that could damage the hair. The appropriate ring for this type of i-tip is the one with the silicon on inner part. This has strong grip but without damaging the hair. The tools we use are a simple hook and an ordinary small pliers to shrink the ring, securing the extension to your natural hair.
